Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh

Located just outside the capital of the unrecognised Republic of Artsakh, or Nagorno-Karabakh, this monument has become a popular symbol of local heritage. It appears on the Artsakh coat of arms, and is sometimes called 'Tatik-Papik' – Armenian for 'Grandma and Grandpa.'
