Dudik Memorial Park

Vukovar, Croatia
This memorial park commemorates the victims of fascist occupation – some 455 of whom were executed on this spot between July 1941 and February 1943. Alhough damaged during the 1991-1995 Croatian War of Independence, the copper tips of the five stone towers have been refurbished as recently as 2013.
